Three’s
To enter the Three’s class a child must be a minimum of three years of age and must be completely potty trained. The Pre- K Three class has children ages three years of age. Using the Montessori Philosophy Children are given the freedom to choose what they would like to learn or work on as long as they follow the classroom rules. The Pinnacle or A-Beka Christian workbook program is also used in the Pre-K classrooms. Spanish is taught three days a week, Bible Stories twice a week, art three days a week, and music two days a week.
Four’s
To enter the Four’s class a child must be a minimum of four years of age and must be completely potty trained. The Pre- K Four’s class has children four and occasionally five years of age. The Early Childhood Pre-K class is designed to be a two year classroom modeled after the Montessori Philosophy and Curriculum. The Montessori curriculum is child centered it is very possible to teach different levels in the same classroom. The benefit for younger children is that they learn much faster because they are exposed to more advanced concepts and the older children have an opportunity to develop leadership and teaching skills in addition to new learning concepts. Children are given the freedom to choose what they would like to learn or work on as long as they follow the classroom rules.
